Who We Are & What We Do
At SAPgen, we provide two building regs compliance services. Part L compliance through SAP Calculations and Part O compliance either through the simplified method or a full TM59 Dynamic Simulation Model. We work with:
- House builders and small developers
- Architects and designers
- Self-builders and homeowners
- Contractors delivering design-and-build schemes
All you need to do is send us your drawings and specs. With this we can model you building for whichever building regs you need to pass. We'll tell you if your project passes and give clear, practical advice to help failing dwellings get to the right mark.

1. Clear Scope & Fixed Fees
We start by understanding your project type, the number of plots and which stage you are at. Pricing is fixed and transparent, based on our published price list, so you know the cost up front before any work starts.
2. Design Support, Not Just a Pass/Fail
Where results are close to failing, we provide targeted recommendations rather than generic “improve insulation” notes. The aim is to find cost-effective adjustments that work on site as well as on paper.
3. Fast Turnaround & Straightforward Reports
Most single dwellings are turned around within a few working days, with clear reports that Building Control can follow easily. Where needed, we also provide BREL reports and EPC lodgements at As Built stage.
What We Specialise In
New Builds, Conversions & Extensions
Our primary focus is domestic SAP for:
- New build houses and flats
- Barn and agricultural conversions
- Commercial to residential change of use
- Highly glazed extensions that trigger the glazing rule
Each of these has slightly different Part L requirements. We tailor the SAP approach and explanations so that you understand exactly what is being checked and why.
Future Services: Part O & Thermal Bridging
SAPgen has been designed with future services in mind, including:
- Part O overheating assessments (simplified method and DSM where required)
- Thermal bridging calculations and psi-values to improve Y-values in SAP
As these services launch, they will be integrated alongside SAP so that overheating and thermal bridging can be considered at the right stage of the design, not as last-minute add-ons.
