3. Instructing Us & Forming a Contract
A contract between you and us is formed when you:
- submit a booking via our online booking form; or
- accept a written quote from us (by email or in writing); and
- we confirm acceptance of your instruction.
We reserve the right to decline any instruction, for example where there is a conflict of interest or where we do not have capacity or competence for the project.
4. Fees, Payment & Changes
Our standard fees are set out on our pricing page or in any written quote we provide. Unless otherwise stated, prices are in pounds sterling (GBP) and exclude any taxes that may become applicable in future.
For most projects, payment is required in advance via our online booking system or as otherwise agreed in writing. Work will usually begin once payment and the required information have been received.
Where the design or specification changes significantly after we have produced a compliant SAP result, we may charge an additional fee to rework the calculation. Any such costs will be agreed with you first.

Our calculations and advice are based on the information you provide. We cannot accept responsibility for any loss or delay caused by inaccurate, incomplete or late information.
6. Limitations of the Service
SAP Calculations and related reports:
- are predictive models based on standardised assumptions;
- are not guarantees of actual energy use, running costs or comfort;
- do not replace the need for structural, architectural or other specialist advice.
We are not responsible for on-site workmanship, construction quality or compliance with any aspects of Building Regulations that fall outside our scope of instruction.
7. Liability
Nothing in these terms limits or excludes our liability for death or personal injury caused by negligence, fraud or any other liability which cannot be excluded under UK law.
Subject to the above, our total liability to you in respect of any claim arising from our services shall not exceed the total fees paid by you to us for the specific project giving rise to the claim.
We shall not be liable for any indirect or consequential loss, loss of profit, loss of opportunity or loss of goodwill arising from the use of our services or this website.
